Leominster Bowling Club which celebrated its centenary in 2014 is actively helping to support and develop the game of bowls in North Herefordshire. Located just to the south of the town centre the club plays in the local Tarmac league, County Men’s League and hosts friendly games against visiting teams including County competitions.
There is a well stocked bar open during play, excellent catering facilities, Car parking, the Club is within walking distance to the town centre which makes it an ideal venue for Touring sides to visit.
If you would like to give Bowls a try please make contact. Its a great way to get some gentle exercise and meet fellow bowlers. All ages are welcome, no previous experience is required. The Club has equipment to loan and qualified coaches to assist. Experienced and Novice Bowlers are very welcome, we can cater for bowlers with a disability. We hold Fun Competitions throughout the season Fixture list permitting.
The Green re-opens in April 2024 and will be in action until September 2024.
Club nights are held Mondays from 6pm non members are welcome. Friday afternoons 2-4pm are coaching sessions whether new bowlers or those just needing a little coaching to improve their game. If coaching is required at a time to suit this can be arranged.
